Station Closures, Single-Tracking: Weekend Metro Schedule
Taking the Metro this weekend? Expect shuttle buses to replace trains, single-tracking, and station closures on certain lines.

WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: the Washington Auto Show, DC Chinese New Year Parade, Chocolate Festival, and Frosty Brew Thru.
If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Jan. 25 through Sunday, Jan. 26, you should plan accordingly.
Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Red Line trains will run every 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., additional trains will operate every 9 minutes between Medical Center and Glenmont. Due to telecommunications and radio work, trains will single-track between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Twinbrook.
Orange Line trains will operate every 12 to 15 minutes between West Falls Church-VT/UVA and New Carrollton. Free shuttle buses will replace trains between Vienna/Fairfax-GMU and West Falls Church-VT/UVA. Vienna/Fairfax-GMU and Dunn Loring-Merrifield stations will be closed.

Yellow, Green, Blue, and Silver Line trains will run every 12 to 15 minutes.
