Taïm Falafel Opens In Georgetown
Taïm, New York City's beloved falafel chain, is now open in Georgetown.

GEORGETOWN, DC — A beloved falafel chain in New York City has expanded to Georgetown.
Taïm — which is Hebrew for "tasty" — opened its first D.C. location on Aug. 21. The fast-casual eatery is located at 1065 Wisconsin Ave. NW, right next to Filomena Ristorante and South Moon Under.
At Taïm, everything is made from scratch daily. We're talking about cauliflower shawarma, strawberry and tomato gazpacho, sabich, and — of course — falafel.

The woman behind the food: Einat Admony. Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Admony cooked alongside her mother, served in the Israeli army as a driver and cook, and attended culinary school in Israel, according to Taïm's website.
While Admony makes the food, her husband and business partner — Stefan Nafziger — runs the joint.

"She makes the food. He makes it happen. It's a marriage of culinary kismet," the pair says on their website.
Georgetown is the only location Taïm has outside of New York. Its other five locations are scattered across lower Manhattan; and they serve, arguably, the best falafel in The Big Apple, according to several New York-based outlets.
