The Georgetown townhouse where John Fitzgerald Kennedy met Jacqueline Bouvier is on the market for $1.7 million as of Thursday.

GEORGETOWN, D.C. — The Georgetown townhouse where John Fitzgerald Kennedy met Jacqueline Bouvier is on the market for $1.725 million as of Thursday, according to Realtor.com. The two-story Federal style house in Georgetown has been updated.
The couple met at a dinner party in May 1951 at the Georgetown home, located at 3419 Q St. NW, The Washington Post reports. Journalist Charles Bartlett and his wife, Martha, were renting the home and threw the dinner party to introduce their friend Kennedy to his soon-to-be bride.
Realtor.com says the home has about 1,934 square feet, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one full bath. Schools nearby include Hyde-Addison Elementary School, Hardy Middle School and Wilson High School.
