Usher In Bastille Day Saturday At Brasserie Liberte In Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, D.C. — Celebrate Bastille Day in Georgetown Saturday at Brasserie Liberte, 3251 Prospect Street N.W. Brasserie Liberté is a modern French eatery with an American twist located in the heart of Georgetown with a menu that reflects the food of both cuisines. Bastille Day is a holiday celebrating the storming of the Bastille, a military fortress and prison, on July 14, 1789, in an uprising that helped usher in the French Revolution.

Bastille Day at Brasserie Liberte will be celebrated with crepes on the patio from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a live performance from an accordion player from noon to 2 p.m. and champagne specials until 10 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made at OpenTable.
