Weather To Expect For Trick-Or-Treating In Georgetown
Halloween night is shaping up to be all treats and no tricks in terms of the weather forecast.

GEORGETOWN, DC — There's nothing that could spoil trick-or-treat night with the kids than some rain. It looks like that won't be the case this year in Georgetown.
The National Weather Service calls for a sunny day and a partly cloudy night on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The day will bring a comfortable high of 68 and nighttime lows in the high 50s.
The promising Halloween forecast comes after a colder Monday. Temperatures will warm Tuesday into Wednesday.

Luckily rain isn't in the forecast until Halloween festivities have concluded. The National Weather Service says there's a 70 percent chance of rain Thursday night.

- Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.
- Thursday: A chance of rain after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. South wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Thursday Night: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
- Friday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
- Friday Night: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
