Weekend Metro Schedule: 1 Line Will Be Impacted
Here's what you need to know about this weekend's Metro schedule.

WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: the Enchant Christmas Light Maze and Market, Chanukah on Ice, Santa Stampede, and National Menorah Lighting.
If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Dec. 22, you should plan accordingly.
Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Red Line trains will operate every 16 minutes. Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., additional trains will run every 8 minutes between Van Ness-UDC and Glenmont. Radio and telecomm work in the tunnels will force trains to single-track between Friendship Heights and Medical Center.
Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Silver Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule (every 12 to 15 minutes).
