Weekend Metro Schedule: 3 Lines Will Be Impacted
A station closure or construction will impact three Metro lines this weekend. Here's everything you need to know.

WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: Georgetown Fall Market, Carrie Underwood at Capital One Arena, Shocktober, and Los Angeles Dodgers at Washington Nationals playoff game.
If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 6, you should plan accordingly.
Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Red Line trains will run every 16 minutes. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., additional trains will run between Farragut North and Glenmont every 8 minutes. Due to rail work, trains will single-track between Van Ness-UDC and Dupont Circle.
Silver Line trains will operate every 12 to 15 minutes between Spring Hill and New Carrollton. Free shuttle buses will replace trains between Spring Hill and Wiehle-Reston East (closed). Riders traveling to and from Benning Road, Capitol Heights, Addison Road, Morgan Boulevard, and Largo Town Center should use the Blue Line to get to their destination.

Blue Line trains will operate every 20 minutes. Due to trackbed lighting installation, trains will single-track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road.
Yellow, Orange, and Green Line trains will operate on a regular weekend schedule.
