WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: the Nationals Parade, Festival of Cheese & Wine, Día de los Muertos Weekend Festival, and Shocktober.

Red Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule (every 12-15 minutes) until 10 p.m. trains will run every 16 minutes from 10 p.m. to close. Trains will single-track between Van Ness-UDC and Dupont Circle. And on Sunday, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Wheaton and Glenmont until 2 p.m. Glenmont station will be closed during this time.

Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Silver Line trains will operate on a regular weekend schedule.

To accommodate the influx of customers during the Nationals victory parade, Metro will open rail stations at 7 a.m. and ramp up rush-hour levels between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

In Downtown D.C., trains will arrive every 3 to 4 minutes. Trains will leave end-of-line stations every 6 to 12 minutes.
