WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: DC Fashion Week, Harry Potter and the Brewery Misadventure Party, DC Dining in the Dark, Mardi Gras Parade, and Alexandria's Roaring 2020 Big Band Winter Bash.

If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Feb. 22 through Sunday, Feb. 23, you should plan accordingly.

Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Red Line trains will run every 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont and single-track between Medical Center and Grosvenor. From 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., additional trains will operate between Friendship Heights and Glenmont.

Orange, Blue, and Silver Line trains will run every 12 minutes on Saturday and every 15 minutes on Sunday.

Yellow and Green Line trains will operate every 16 minutes, but single-track between Mount Vernon Square/7th St.-Convention Center and U St./African-American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo.
