UPDATED (Jan. 21, 1:30 p.m.) As of 1 p.m., the following stations have reopened: Archives, Arlington Cemetery, Capitol South, Federal Center SW, Federal Triangle, Judiciary Square, and Smithsonian. Only four stations remained closed: Farragut North, Farragut West, McPherson Square, and Metro Center

WASHINGTON, DC — As of 9 a.m. on Thursday, the Gallery Place and Union Station Metrorail stations in Washington, D.C. were open for business after being temporarily closed due to security around the 59th Presidential Inauguration.

The following 11 stations will remain closed through Thursday:

Metrorail's hours of operations are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Trains will continue to operate on a Saturday schedule, with Red Line trains running ever 12 minutes and all other lines running every 15 minutes.
