Art Place at Fort Totten has signed two new tenants to fill retail space at the multi-family residential, retail and arts development.

WASHINGTON, DC — Art Place at Fort Totten has signed two new tenants to fill the large amount of retail space at the multi-family residential, retail, cultural, art, educational and entertainment development.
Onelife Fitness and Phenix Salon Suites have joined a list of retailers at the mixed-use development, with 16- and 10-year leases, respectively.
The owners of the development, The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation, wanted to provide easy access to retail and the arts for new residents of Art Place at Fort Totten.

“As we continue with the second phase of construction at Art Place, Onelife Fitness and Phenix Salon Suites will bring valuable amenities to the growing Fort Totten community,” Jane Cafritz of the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation said in a statement.
The Fort Totten site will be Onelife Fitness’s first location in the District of Columbia. The fitness center has 16 locations in Maryland and Virginia. The fitness center, which will have space on two floors, will be located below The Modern apartments at Art Place.
