Bantam King's 'Walk Up Window' Serves Tasty Summer Treats

Japanese eatery Bantam King is officially reopening its popular 'Walk Up Window,' offering soft serve, milkshakes and more.

WASHINGTON, DC — Japanese chicken-centric eatery Bantam King is officially reopening its popular ‘Walk Up Window’ just in time for summer.

Bantam King’s Walk Up Window will serve an assortment of creative soft serve selections, beginning with a rotation of five flavor options priced at just $4 each.

The flavors include the “Bruno” with 24k Gold, Olive Oil and Honey, Sesame Banana Caramel, “Honey Boo Boo” with Kettle Chips with Honey Butter Sauce, Kona Coffee “Affogato” and Honeydew, to highlight a few.

Bantam King’s new self service ordering kiosk — a popular mode of ordering frequently used throughout Japan — will be located just outside the walk up window at the restaurant, inviting customers to utilize a user-friendly touch screen to place their orders.

Once orders are ready for pick-up, guests names will be called at the window to collect their frosty confections. Additional menu items including creative milkshakes and other seasonal specials that will be added to the menu line-up in the coming weeks.

The Walk Up Window is open to the public and available during regular business hours – 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
