Child Sexual Abuse Charges Filed Against MD Man: Police
D.C. police detectives say a Maryland man traveled to the District last year to engage in sexual acts with a minor victim.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Maryland man Tuesday on child sexual abuse charges, according to a police release.
Police say Christopher Ham, 47, of Largo, Maryland, traveled to the District in 2020 and engaged in sexual acts with a minor victim.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, detectives arrested Ham and charged him with first-degree child sexual abuse and travel with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

The case was investigated by officers from MPD's Youth and Family Services Division and special agents from the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
