Christmas Day 2019 Weather Forecast Released For NoVA, DC
The National Weather Service has released its Christmas Day forecast for DC and northern VA. Will your white Christmas dreams come true?

WASHINGTON, DC — If shivering in Arctic air and driving on snow-covered highways to reach your Christmas gathering makes you happy, then this forecast is not the present you were hoping for this year. There is no snow, no rain, no ice, and no bitter cold in the DC region's forecast through Christmas Day.
The National Weather Service has published its Christmas Day forecast and it feels more early spring than the first week of winter. On Christmas Day, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia are expected to see plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the low to mid-50s. There is zero percent chance of precipitation.
A long term forecast released earlier this month by the Old Farmer's Almanac had raised hopes for Christmas romantics, predicting a chance of rain then snow on the big day. Historical data gathered over years by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, however, shows the chances of Christmas Day snow were never good.
