Dunkin' Iced Coffee Fundraiser To Benefit Children's Hospital

Dunkin' will donate $1 for each iced coffee sold at its restaurants in the D.C. area on Wednesday to Children's National Hospital.

WASHINGTON, DC — Dunkin’ of Washington, D.C. is holding a fundraiser Wednesday, May 26 as part of its Iced Coffee Day program.

The restaurant will donate $1 for each iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ locations in the D.C. area to Children’s National Hospital in Washington.

“Proceeds from the program will help the top 10 pediatric hospital advance care for kids across the region, invest in research for innovative treatments and therapies, and expand their reach through advocacy and education,” Dunkin’ said Monday in a statement.

Dunkin’ of D.C. and its local franchisees held their first Iced Coffee Day fundraiser benefiting Children’s National Hospital in 2016. The campaign has raised more than $75,500 for the hospital over the past five years.

“A donation to Children’s National and the wonderful work they do for children is the perfect way to welcome summer and celebrate Iced Coffee Day, and we hope our guests will join us to celebrate on May 26 with their favorite iced coffee beverage,” Colleen Krygiel, Dunkin’ Integrated Marketing Manager, said in a statement.

Customers can customize their Dunkin’ Iced Coffee with a variety of dairy and non-dairy, sweetener and flavor options.
