Firefighters Cut Roof Off Car After Navy Yard Crash
Firefighters had to cut the roof off of a car to rescue the occupants after a crash in D.C. on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON, DC — Two people had to be literally cut out of a car that was involved in a crash in the Navy Yard area in D.C. on Wednesday.
Rescuers responded to the intersection of South Capitol and K streets SW to a report of a crash with entrapment, D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 12:12 p.m.
"Rescue Squad 1 removed roof and doors to gain access so patient could be safely removed from vehicle," they wrote. "Transporting 2 patients in stable condition with non life threatening injuries."
