Hugh Jackman, Ariana Grande, New Kids On The Block Coming To DC

WASHINGTON, DC — Hugh Jackman is embarking on a world tour performing songs from the hit film "The Greatest Showman" as well as other shows and films, with Washington, among his numerous stops.

Jackman said on Twitter that he is launching a world tour to perform songs from "The Greatest Showman," "Les Misérables," "The Boy From Oz," and other films and Broadway shows.

Fans can see him on the stage at the Capital One Arena at 7 pm. on Monday, July 1, 2019.

Taking the Capital One stage on March 25 is Ariana Grande as her 2019 Sweetener tour travels the world. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. And a second show has been added for the summer, she's back in DC on Friday, June 21, at 8 p.m.

The tour features songs from her fourth album "Sweetener," and her new album, "Thank U, Next" was in the hands of Grande's fans just in time for Valentine's Day.

Also coming to the arena for a week this summer is Cirque de Soleil: Corteo, which the production describes this way about the life of a clown: "The clown Mauro has passed, but his spirit is still with us. Instead of mourning, the funeral cortege celebrates the here and hereafter with laughter and exuberance."
