Mini Golf Venue Coming To Dupont Circle In June: Report

A mini golf venue called Swingers is opening a location in Dupont Circle in the former location of The Front Page and Buffalo Billiards.

WASHINGTON, DC — A mini golf venue called Swingers is opening a new location in Dupont Circle in the former location of The Front Page and Buffalo Billiards.

The Washington, D.C. site will be the first U.S. location for the London-based mini golf company, WTOP reported Tuesday. The mini golf venue, scheduled to open in June, will allow entry to people 21 and older.

“You’ll come in on the ground level through the bar, then you’ll head down into the basement,” Swingers CEO Matt Grech-Smith told WTOP. “We’ve got about 20,000 square feet of space, so it’s pretty expansive. … We came in when the landlord was looking for new tenants and we are now in the space.”

The company has two locations in London and plans to open a mini golf venue in New York City later this year, according to WTOP.

Swingers will have two nine-hole courses at the Dupont Circle location, the Clocktower and Waterwheel courses. The venue will have four cocktail bars and four street food vendors, with drinking allowed on the courses.
