WASHINGTON, DC — Logan Circle hot spot Commodore Public House will be closing soon, according to a report.
Popville reports that the Commodore, located at 11th and P Street NW, will close next week after ownership was unable to come to a lease extension agreement with the landlord, citing a letter from the bar to "staff, regulars, and irregulars."
The Commodore first opened in 2016. Last call will happen on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The Commodore hosted the Stanley Cup last year after the Washington Capitals' 2018 win. Howard "H.T." Lenz, the Caps' manager of analytics, chose to bring it to the bar for his day with the cup on the evening of Sept. 21, 2018.
He took a picture of himself for Instagram that showed him posing with the cup while wearing the bar's trademark diver's helmet.
