President Biden, We Need Your Anti Horse Slaughter Advocacy Now
You've long demonstrated your compassion for American Horses. There is no SAFE Act in this, the 117th Congress and a Bill is needed NOW
Dear President Biden,
This is, I believe, the first Congress in which a version of the Safeguard American Foods Export Act has still not been introduced in the House, or subsequently in the Senate. As you may know, in the 116th Congress the number of co-sponsors for the Bill exceeded the number for a simple majority in the House. And yet, it was never called to a vote.
Anti slaughter horse advocates are waiting, now impatiently, for the Bill to be introduced. How are we to contact Representatives and Senators to encourage their support of a Bill that does not exist?

We implore you to do what you can to ensure that the Safeguard American Foods Export Act of the 117th Congress is introduced as quickly as possible. Horses are dying, they are being horrifically transported to slaughter in Canada, Mexico and Japan.
I have long told other advocates that you are pro-horse, that your record confirms that fact. Please do no fail them now. Thank you.
