Ronald McDonald House of DC Recognized As Top Charity In Region

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington D.C. (RMHCDC), a charity that eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children, has been recognized by the Better Business Bureau and Business.org as a top charity in the Washington, DC region for their transparency, efficiency and impact.

RMHCDC successfully met all 20 standards for the Better
Business Bureau’s Charity Accreditation review, resulting in earning the Better
Business Bureau Accredited Charity Status. This rigorous review looked into
RMHCDC’s governance, effectiveness, finances and fundraising efforts.

RMHCDC was also recognized by
Business.org as the top charity in Washington, D.C. for the organization’s
commitment to using donated funds effectively for programming versus other
administrative expenses. Business.org compared financial information,
transparency policies, and public reviews, while reviewing financial, accountability
and transparency scores and administrative-to-program cost ratios to find
highly efficient charities in every state that do the most with supporters’
donations. RMHCDC ranked number one in Washington, D.C. with a final score of
