These Are DC And VA's Best Brunch Spots, New Ranking Says
Five D.C. and Virginia spots are on Open Table's list of the "100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America." See which eateries made the cut.
DC/VIRGINIA — Who doesn't love brunch? You can get sweet breakfast and savory lunch offerings, all while sipping coffee or cocktails in the late morning or early afternoon.
So which places in D.C. and Virginia have the best brunches?
Reservation-booking website Open Table recently published its list of the "100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America" and five D.C. and Virginia spots made the list.

Four of those are in D.C. and one is in Northern Virginia.
Below are the D.C. and Virginia restaurants that made the cut, along with their rankings among DC and Virginia restaurants as well as their national rankings according to Open Table:

- Amber Capitol Hill — Washington, D.C. (No. 2 nationally)
- Bistro L'Hermitage — Woodbridge (No. 12 nationally)
- Le Diplomate — Washington, D.C. (No. 56 nationally)
- Old Ebbitt Grill — Washington, D.C. (No. 68 nationally)
- Zaytinya — Washington, D.C. (No. 100 nationally)
Open Table created the rankings by collecting diner reviews from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021.
All restaurants with a minimum rating and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the sum of tags for which "brunch" was selected as a special feature.
