'Very Combative Man' Accused Of Throwing Rocks On Capitol Hill
A 37-year-old man faces several charges in connection with him allegedly throwing rocks at the Russell Senate Office Building Tuesday night.
WASHINGTON, DC — A 37-year-old man faces several charges in connection with him allegedly throwing rocks at the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill, according to the U.S. Capitol Police.
The man, John Liebsch, was “non-compliant and very combative” when Capitol police officers tried to apprehend him around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, the police said.
Liebsch has multiple warrants, including a warrant for felony destruction of property at Columbus Circle in November 2020, according to the police.

After Tuesday’s night incident, the police said Liebsch faces several additional charges, including felony destruction of property, felony threats, failure to obey, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and fugitive from justice.
