The White House Easter Egg Roll has been a tradition since 1878. After Congress passed legislation to prohibit egg rolling on Capitol grounds, children asked President Rutherford B. Hayes to use the White House yard to roll eggs. Since then, the White House lawn has hosted children annually for the egg roll game.
Lottery results will be available on March 4. Register for the lottery here.
