White House Easter Eggs: Mask-Wearing Bunnies, Biden's Dogs
The 2021 Easter egg designs include a bunny rabbit wearing a mask and a special gold egg with President Biden's dogs Champ and Major.
WASHINGTON, DC — The White House Easter Egg Roll is canceled again this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the White House Historical Association is hosting a variety of online Easter Egg Roll activities.
The virtual fun will include a scavenger hunt, a digital jigsaw puzzle, downloadable coloring pages, bingo and a way to design one’s own commemorative egg.
The White House Easter Egg Roll has been a tradition since 1878. Held on the South Lawn on the Monday after Easter, the White House invites thousands of children to participate in egg rolling and other activities. But for the second year in a row, the event has been canceled over public health concerns.
