$15 Million Florida Lottery Prize Claimed By Davie Man
A 32-year-old Davie man won the largest scratch-off top prize offered by Florida Lottery by playing $15,000,000 GOLD RUSH SPECIAL EDITION.
DAVIE, FL — A 32-year-old Davie man won the top $15 million prize from the $15,000,000 GOLD RUSH SPECIAL EDITION scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery said in a news release.
This $15 million prize is the largest scratch-off top prize offered by the Florida Lottery.
Chad Lucas chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $10.44 million. He claimed his prize using a secured drop box at Florida Lottery’s Fort Myers district office.

Lucas purchased his winning ticket from the Texaco at 1501 State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale. The retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The $15,000,000 GOLD RUSH SPECIAL EDITION game, a $30 game, launched in February 2019 and features six top prizes of $15 million. The game also offers 24 prizes of $1 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.6.
