Cop Heckles Tortoise: ‘C’mon, Grandpa, I Got Places To Be'
The tortoise tied up traffic as it moved about 1 mph in a 30 mph zone in Florida.

OCALA, FL — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Ocala used capital letters and double exclamation points to introduce a social media video about a police encounter with "a dude" traveling about 1 mph in a 30 mph zone. “THE NERVE OF THIS GUY!!” the post read.
“I mean, the guy’s easily 100,” Deputy Bryan Bowman said on the video. "He shouldn’t be out on the roadways to begin with. I tried to talk to him. He snapped at me. I don’t know what this guy’s deal is. C’mon, Grandpa, I got places to be. Everybody wants to drive slow when there’s cop car behind them. Can’t get nowhere on time.”
The slow-mover was a large tortoise, which aren’t known to rush. In fact, they can swim faster than they walk.

Bowman said he “followed the old man” for about 20 minutes until the tortoise finally disappeared into the woods.
