Closure Notice: State Road 826, NE 163 Street Railroad Crossing

The Florida East Coast (FEC) Railroad, in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), will close the railroad crossing on SR 826/NE 163 Street just west of Biscayne Boulevard from 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7, through Tuesday, March 10, 2020, weather permitting. During this closure, traffic will be detoured while workers replace tracks and crossing surface to improve ride quality.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

• Traffic traveling eastbound on NE 163 Street will go right on Dixie Highway, left on NE 151 Street and left on SR 5/Biscayne Boulevard to return to NE 163 Street.
• Traffic traveling westbound on NE 163 Street will go left on SR 5/Biscayne Boulevard, right on NE 151 Street and right on Dixie Highway to return to NE 163 Street.
