Man Killed By Police In Miami Gardens
Miami Gardens police said that the man was attempting to flee the scene after striking an officer with a suspected stolen vehicle.

MIAMI GARDENS, FL — One man was killed early Friday after multiple Miami Gardens police officers opened fire when the man allegedly struck an officer with a suspected stolen vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a home, according to police.
Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Prat told reporters that the man was attempting to flee the scene.
"As he attempted to flee from the scene, he struck one of the officers on the scene with a vehicle," the chief said. "In addition, I have multiple officers that have fired their weapons."

Local 10 News reported that the officer who was struck by the suspected stolen vehicle was not seriously injured. No one inside the home was injured, according to Local 10.
