Meals on Wheels South Florida's Holiday Gift Box Program

In 2019, thanks to our generous supporters, Meals on Wheels South Florida provided nearly 300 home-bound seniors with holiday gift boxes filled with personal care items and other necessities to ensure that they felt loved.

You can make an in-kind gift to the 2020 holiday gift box program by donating the following:

For both men & women:

Shampoo/conditioner
Toothbrushes/toothpaste
Hair brushes & combs
Face/body lotion
Bar/body soap
Shower Gel
Laundry detergent
Dish-washing soap
Razors/washcloths

And More!

Please call to schedule a drop off of donated items at the Meals on Wheels South Florida office before December 14, 2020.

Individuals and corporations can also help by making a tax-deductible donation to help our seniors this holiday. We are also accepting volunteers to safely assist with deliveries of holiday gift boxes as well as wrap & pack gift boxes in our office.

Meals on Wheels South Florida Funding Statement

Meals on Wheels South Florida is funded under the Older Americans Act and Fair Share Dollars from local municipalities through State of Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs and The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County. The generous support from The Jim Moran Foundation, Jewish Federation of Broward, United Way of Broward, the Children’s Services Council, the cities of Tamarac and Pompano and Private Donations allows us to provide meals and services to those in most immediate need who would otherwise be placed on the ever-growing waiting list for home-delivered meals.
