Miami-Dade Water And Sewer To Begin Improvement Project In Aventura

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is scheduled to begin an improvement construction project in April to replace existing wastewater lines along Island Boulevard and N.E. 183 Street in Aventura.

To enhance the reliability of the wastewater system, the Department will be upgrading the water and sewer infrastructure by replacing existing 8-inch and 12-inch wastewater lines with new 12-inch and 16-inch wastewater lines. The project is expected to be completed by March of 2022.

Most of the construction work will occur during the day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Intermittent traffic disruptions is expected.
