MIAMI, FL — Sunday will be mostly sunny around Miami with a chance of showers primarily before 2 p.m. Forecasters are calling for a high near 90 degrees.

"The determination of the arrival of fall in South Florida based on the average first date of temperatures below 60 [degrees] is purely subjective and not based on any research," explained Robert Molleda of the National Weather Service in releasing the chart on Saturday. "It's intended to give folks a general idea of when noticeably cooler temperatures are felt in South Florida on average."
