Text 'VEGAS' To Help Massacre Victims
AT&T has set up a text-to-donate option that works across wireless carriers to benefit victims of Sunday's mass shooting in Las Vegas.

DALLAS, TX — In the aftermath of the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history, AT&T has announced a text-t0-donate option for wireless users, including customers on other networks. The money will benefit victims of Sunday's attack outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Wireless users can now text "VEGAS" to 50555 to donate $10.
"One hundred percent of the donations go directly towards Nevada’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, to support their treatment of patients in need," AT&T's Kelly Starling told Patch."
AT&T worked with the University Medical Center Foundation to develop the text-to-donate option. "In the wake of the tragic event in Las Vegas on Sunday night, our thoughts and prayers are with all of those impacted," company officials added.

Charges will appear on wireless bills or be deducted from prepaid balances. All donations must be authorized by the account holder. Donors must be 18 years of age or have parental permission to participate. Message and data rates may apply.
