Benefit Kentucky Derby Party at Center Place Today (May 4)

Ladies get your hats ready and gentlemen put on your most dapper duds, that's the word from the Brandon Outreach Clinic as it preps for today's Second Annual Kentucky Derby Party at Center Place in Brandon.

"The race will be piped in and you can participate in a game of chance, as well as a silent auction, raffle prizes and mint juleps galore," according to the Facebook announcement for the May 4 event.

Also on tap, prizes for Best Ladies Hat and Best-Dressed Gentleman.

The event is from 4 to 8 p.m.

The Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association shares space with the Brandon Regional Library in the Sandy Rodriguez Center at 619 Vonderburg Drive.

Proceeds benefit the Brandon Outreach Clinic, at 517 North Parsons Avenue. The clinic's mission is to provide primary and diagnostic health care to those who are unable to afford it.
