Confiscated '3rd Street' Kittens In Desperate Need of Adoptive Homes
In this video, kittens confiscated from "deplorable" living conditions from a hoarder's mobile home in Riverview make their case for adoptive homes. They are among the 82 cats confiscated June 5 from a mobile home in Riverview.

Ian Hallett, director of Hillsborough County Animal Services, wants you to know that the cats confiscated from a mobile home in Riverview are in good shape and in great need of food and bedding — if not a new lease of life in a loving home.
Up for adoption are the 80 cats and kittens confiscated from Eric Holmes, who reportedly hoarded the felines in his Third Street home, where responders from animal services confiscated them June 5 after receiving a tip about their "deplorable" living conditions.

"The owner realized that in the best interests of the cats, he should surrender them so they could have a shot at adoption," Hallett said, in a June 6 interview outside the cages of the so-called "Third Street cats," which are under watch and care at the shelter, at 440 North Falkenburg Road.
Another two cats were "humanely euthanized for acute suffering," according to an animal services report.
