A national movement that would see fast-food workers and retail employees get a big bump in pay is making its way to Tampa.

Labor organizers that have targeted 50 American cities are making their way to Tampa on Aug. 29 to call for hourly pay of at least $15 for workers at area fast-food joints and retails stores, according to TBO.com. Stores targeted in the past have included Walgreens, Burger King, Wendy’s, Macy’s and Sears, among others.
