On December 7 and 8, 2019, at Hawk Park Field in FishHawk Ranch, the FishHawk Coed Softball League held their playoffs.
On Saturday December 7, 2019, in the first round, defending champions Garden District held off Bridgeview. Also in round 1, we had our tourneys first upset, Hawk Wood beating Tanager in extra innings.
On Sunday December 8, 2019, the first semi-final game was Hawk Wood against perennial power, FishHawk Strong. Fishhawk Strong won the game and the first berth in the championship game. The second semi-final game was Garden District versus #2 seed Starling. Starling was just savvy enough to pull off the victory and join #1 seed FishHawk Strong in the finals.

The finals started at 1pm and it was a classic, low scoring, back and forth game for 5 innings, tied at 5-5. Starling batted first in the 6th inning and failed to score any runs. FishHawk Strong came up and put together one of their monstrous innings, scoring 11 runs to take the lead and eventually win the game by a 16-5 score. This is the 2nd title in the last 3 seasons for FishHawk Strong.
