Man Sought In Fatal Bloomingdale Avenue 7-11 Attack
Detectives seek the public's help in finding the man wanted in the fatal stabbing of 7-11 clerk Kenneth Lee Redding, 54, of Gibsonton.
The search is on for the man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a clerk found in a pool of blood at the 7-11 at Bloomingdale Avenue and Providence Road, across the street from the southwest corner of Winthrop Town Centre.
Detectives reviewing the surveillance video have described the suspect as a white male wearing a royal blue and black hoodie. Motive has not yet been clearly established.
Kenneth Lee Redding, 54, of 11006 Spivey Road, Gibsonton lost his life after being transported to Tampa General Hospital. A customer found Redding lying in a pool of blood, in an aisle, shortly after 1:30 a.m., according to a report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Redding reportedly had worked at the 7-11, at 11015 Bloomingdale Ave., for a year- and a-half.
