Scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Royal Oaks shopping plaza is a charity event hosted by Bleu Salon and LA Fitness for the Wounded Warrior Project.
"The silent auction and donation totals will be supporting the Wounded Warrior Project with any needs they deem necessary for those who qualify for their support," according to an event announcement posted at the front desk at LA Fitness, at 3236 Lithia Pinecrest Road, at Bloomingdale Avenue.
Donation options will include collection jars, a silent auction and raffles (50/50).
The event is scheduled to take place in the Royal Oaks Plaza, in the LA Fitness parking lot, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Wounded Warrior Project aims:
- To raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.
- To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
- To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
