The Ollie 2018 State of the Dogs Report

Are our favorite four-legged friends carrying a little extra weight? According to an extensive two year study of all kinds of dogs across America, the answer is yes!

Ollie (www.myollie.com) is a pet food delivery service that ships freshly cooked, human-grade food tailored to dog families. They did the (four) leg work to uncover every pet trend you can think of. We learned a lot about the pups in the Sunshine State, as well.

The Ollie 2018 State of Dogs in America Report report analyzed data from more than 400,000 dogs to uncover what a dog in America’s household looks like, identifying health, nutrition, and overall activity trends.

"When more than half of the country's dogs are overweight, Miami pet parents will be relieved to know that their city is one of the top 10 with the healthiest dogs. According to the Ollie 2018 State of Dogs in America Report, 73% of pet parents in Miami report that their dog is the 'ideal weight'," explained Alex Douzet, Co-Founder and CEO at Ollie.
