$15 Pet Adoptions For St. Patrick’s Day At County Animal Shelter
Manatee County Animal Services is offering a reduced-fee "Feelin' Lucky" adoption promotion for St. Patrick's Day.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Feeling the luck of the Irish? With more than 80 loving, adoptable pets waiting to go to forever homes, Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) invites you to find your lucky charm during its reduced-fee adoption promotion starting on St. Patrick's Day, according to a news release from MCAS.
The “Feelin' Lucky” adoption promotion starts Wednesday and runs through March 31 at both MCAS locations: the Palmetto Adoption Center and Shelter at 305 25th Street West in Palmetto and Manatee County Cat Town at 216 6th Avenue East in Bradenton. Both are open for visits by appointment only.
All pet adoption fees, for both dogs and cats, will be $15. All other reduced-price adoptions are still applicable, and the adopter will pay the lowest fee, MCAS said.

Fees are waived for pets residing at the shelter over 60 days and pets 7 years or older are fee-waived, and military, veterans and first responders with ID. Adopters 55 and older who adopt a 7-year-old or older pet have a $10 adoption fee.
All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and rabies certificate, which is a value of more than $300.

Manatee County residents are required to license their new pet for an additional $20.
