Biker Bash to a Community Dog Wash – Something for Everyone This Weekend

Whether you're a dog lover or a Harley lover, there something's for all tastes and skills to do this weekend.

1.) Community Dog Wash: Manatee County Animal Services hosts a dog wash (and cat petting) on Saturday, July 27th, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Come out to wash adoptable dogs. The event is at the Manatee County Animal Services - Palmetto Shelter - 305 25th Street West.

2.) Great American Biker Bash: This adults-only event features live music, a flag raising ceremony to honor combat-wounded from Amvets and American Post 312, and a bike show with "adult games" (we can only guess). The event is Sunday, noon, at Peggy's Corral, 4511 Hwy 41 North, Palmetto.

3.) Rogers Community United Methodist Church will be hosting its Annual Church Bazaar on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. Look for clothes, furniture, housewares, shoes, linens, and much more. The church is at 1100 15th Street East, Bradenton.

4.) Cat Depot Night at Blase Cafe: Enjoy a Pasta Buffet, chance to win a Raffle prize, Live Entertainment and a Cash Bar Sunday night, July 28. All proceeds benefit homeless cats. Tickets: Purchase in advance at Cat Depot for $15. Tickets will be $20 at the door on the evening of the event. Address is 5263 Ocean Blvd Ste 9, Sarasota.

5.) Arts & Eats: Try the Wild Red Giant Alaskan King Crab drawn with butter and lemon and Filet Mignon au Poivre. Open til 8 tonight (Open Mic) and tomorrow and til 9 Friday and Saturday. Located in the heart of the Village of the Arts at 1114 12th St. West. Call 201-6647 for reservations.
