Boil Water Notice Lifted For Most Of Bradenton
A precautionary boil water notice has been lifted for most, but not all of Bradenton.

BRADENTON, FL — A precautionary boil water notice issued for the entire city of Bradenton earlier in the week has been lifted for everyone except residents of the Heritage Village West development.
“The city has conducted an additional round of sampling at this location today,” a Thursday afternoon email from the city said. The results will be available Friday afternoon. The boil water notice was put into place on Tuesday after a Monday night power failure caused a loss of water pressure. The situation was addressed and pressure restored, but a precautionary boil water notice was required to provide time for testing to ensure the water was safe for consumption.

While most of Bradenton’s municipal water customers are in the clear, the city is asking people who reside in Heritage Village West, which is off 66th Street West, to continue boiling their water until further notice. All water that is used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be brought to a rolling boil for a minute.
