Bradenton Takes a Long Weekend Off

City of Bradenton offices will be closed on Jan. 2 for the New Year holiday. The trash pick-up schedule will remain unchanged.

Manatee County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 2 but all passive parks and beaches will be open throughout the holiday period. The G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed on Jan. 2, but the skate park there will be open.

Manatee County Area Transit will run a normal schedule on Dec. 31, but suspend operations on New Years Day. It will resume operations on Monday, Jan. 2.

Trash pick-up schedules will be unaffected by the holiday.
