Bus Offers Free Lunches During Spring Break
Lunch is available each day March 21-25 to all Manatee County school children, regardless of financial situation.

In an effort to promote healthy eating during spring break, the Manatee County School District Food and Nutrition Services Department will provide a free lunch each day from March 21-25 to all county school children 18 or younger.
The meals will be delivered via the Food and Nutrition Services Mobile Feeding Bus to three stops, rain or shine:
- Daughtrey Elementary School, 515 63rd Ave. E., Bradenton, from 11:30 a.m. to noon
- Bradenton Village Apartments, 1302 Third St. W., Bradenton, from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
- Lincoln Park, 501 17th St. E., Palmetto, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The meals are part of a USDA program designed to ensure children have access to nutritional food when school is out of session, and to help students maintain a healthy mind and body for the rest of the school year. These meals are available to all Manatee County school children, regardless of income status.
