COVID-19 One-Stop Shop Opens For Testing, Vaccinations
DOH in Manatee County, FL Division of Emergency Management have opened a testing, vaccination site at the Palmetto Bus Station.

PALMETTO, FL — The Florida Department of Health in Manatee County and the Florida Division of Emergency Management have teamed up to offer a one-stop shop for COVID-19 testing and vaccination.
This new COVID-19 testing and vaccination site is located at the Palmetto Bus Station at 1802 Eighth Ave. W. in Palmetto, according to a news release from Manatee County. The site is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The location was selected after reviewing COVID-19 statistics. The bus station sits in ZIP code 34221, which has some of the lowest COVID-19 testing and vaccination rates and some of the highest numbers of COVID-19-positive cases in the county, the county said.

Testing, including both PCR and rapid testing, and vaccinations are free of charge. The Moderna brand vaccine will be distributed at the site, the county said.

This site is walk-up only. No appointment is necessary. Proof of Florida residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill with a Florida address, is required.
