Enjoy Back-to-Back Performances by SCF’s Music Program

Join State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) Music program for back-to-back Thursday evening performances in April. The SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra celebrates its fifth season during “Quintessential” at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 22, and the SCF Choir, Chamber Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Big Band, Jazz Combo, and Symphonic Band perform their grand finale concert of the year in “Sunset Serenade” at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 29. Both performances will be available for free viewing through a livestream at Facebook.com/SCFMusicProgram.
“Quintessential” will include classics such as Johannes Brahms’ “Hungarian Dance No. 5,” Carl Stamitz’s “Clarinet Concerto No. 5,” featuring soloist and SCF clarinet instructor Eric Anderson, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony.”
