Food Bank of Manatee Asks For Donations Post Hurricane Irma
The Food Bank of Manatee is partnering with local businesses to collect much needed non-perishable food items for struggling residents.

BRADENTON, FL — The Food Bank of Manatee is partnering with a number of local businesses to collect much needed non-perishable food items for residents struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. (Subscribe to the Bradenton Patch for Hurricane Irma news.)
The Food Bank of Manatee is operated by Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee. The food bank has been open since 1985 and has provided over 25 million pounds of food, along with supportive services in the community.
The Food Bank is the primary distribution point of food to over 115 food pantries and agencies, and is the only Feeding America hunger relief organization in Manatee County.

Families in crisis can receive food packages on a temporary basis, as well as emergency baby baskets with formula, diapers, wipes and other baby essentials.
Residents can support the food bank's efforts by making a donation here, or dropping off non-perishable shelf stable items at the following locations:
