The Manatees basketball team at SCF will host a free clinic for youth ages 6-14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 22.

The Manatees basketball team at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a free clinic for youth ages 6-14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 22. Participants should bring their own basketball and meet in the Hal Chasey Gymnasium, Building 17, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

Tom Parks, SCF’s new head coach, is committed to getting young players excited about SCF basketball. Youth who participate in the clinic will interact with the SCF team and learn drills and techniques the players use on the court.

“This is a great opportunity for young basketball players to have fun and improve their skills,” said Parks. “The team and I are really looking forward to helping cultivate future Manatees for success and building relationships with the community.”
