Manatee County Tax Collector Goes Hi-Tech!
The Manatee County Tax Collector is offering residents a new way to access their services via smartphone.

The agency now offers customers a way to view office information via mobile application.
"Our user friendly application is an extension of some of our most popular features on our website, taxcollector.com," said Tax Collector Ken Burton Jr. in a press release. "The application pulls from existing information such as FAQs, customer information pieces, wait times and contacts."
The mobile application currently contains direct links to the agency's online payment system for those want pay via their mobile device. But Burton said accepting payments through mobile application will be something the agency hopes to add to the app soon.
